Connecting Hearts supports poverty-stricken areas globally; the fight against human trafficking; provides aid for those with physical and mental disabilities; and assists individuals in need having unique circumstances who do not otherwise meet other charitable organizations' criteria for help.
Though Sarah English was born in England, she has called the Canarian island of Lanzarote home for 31 years. Currently, she is a partner in a boutique hotel restaurant, utilizing her business acumen combined with her extensive expertise in tourism operations and all facets of the hospitality industry. A beloved philanthropist on the island, Sarah is known for her kind soul, generosity of spirit, and commitment to helping others. In addition to co-founding Connecting Hearts, Sarah serves as Trustee for Lanzability, a charity dedicated to assisting disabled travelers with their handicap access needs.
Alby Guzman hails from the Canarian island of Gran Canaria, where he spent most of his life. An IT specialist with a breadth of experience in business management projects, Alby also is a talented artist, enjoying a passion for drawing and painting. The combination of his technical knowledge with artistic expression provides a powerful range of professional services. In addition, he currently is a partner in a boutique hotel restaurant with Sarah English. Alby firmly believes service to others is a pillar of happiness. Co-founding Connecting Hearts is an expression of his philosophy of service.
American Nan O'Brien presently serves as Partner and Creative Director of FAN Entertainment & Media. She is a former actress, radio personality, and motivational speaker, and currently is a voiceover artist, published author (under various pseudonyms), and screenwriter. Having had a lifelong philosophy of giving back, in addition to Connecting Hearts, Nan serves on the boards of two non-profit organizations focusing on social justice and equine physical therapy. She was thrilled to be invited by Sarah and Alby to be a co-founder of Connecting Hearts.
Extraordinary singer, songwriter, actor, World Champion freestyle dancer, Welsh boxing champion, and trainee priest - these accomplishments only begin to scratch the surface of the multi-talented, multi-dimensional, Noah Francis Johnson ("NFJ"). Born in Tigerbay, Wales, to a Black Dad and a White Mum, NFJ knew hardship from an early age. As a result, he grew up determined to make a difference in the world via his talent, determination, and desire to do the right thing - a commitment he has not only met, but continues to do. Connecting Hearts is grateful for his contribution to our efforts.
Dee Robinson founded C&D Associates in 2020 and developed The T.R.U.E.™ Leadership Path Project, an online course providing focused training for women to become strategic and ethical leaders. Prior, she served in senior executive roles in higher education and not-for-profit fundraising, including raising $1.2B as the VP for Development at the University of Cincinnati Foundation. Recently, Dee went on safari in Kenya and witnessed firsthand the tremendous needs of the beautiful African nation. Dee brings her talents, expertise, and passion to Connecting Hearts, which are all appreciated so very much.
Emily Andosca is a talented American actress and ardent supporter of human rights. As a result of surviving a near-fatal car accident at the age of three, Emily viscerally learned the importance of appreciating the value and opportunities each day brings. This personal insight led to a dedicated philosophy of incorporating service to others, which she embraces concurrently with her acting career. Emily's signature sincerity and kindness have been the hallmarks of a life supporting elderly family members, working with children and animals, and committing time and effort to humanitarian causes. Connecting Hearts is thankful for her support.
